St. Levan a Time and a Place

St. Levan A Time And A Place
A celebration of the parish of St. Levan, its heritage, its history and its people.
This remote parish where many of the people have traditionally gained their livelihoods from farming and fishing has unique and fascinating quality.
The people of St. Levan talk movingly about life in the past from the fellowship of harvest time to the days of the Second World War.
This DVD contains old film footage which evokes memories of a simpler, harder but perhaps happier way of life and this is blended with interviews with some of the parish's people.
From rural life to the arrival of the telegraph station and the creation of the remarkable clifftop Minack Theatre, this film tells a story of a special place and its resilient people.
This film is a St. Levan community history project.
