Into the Light - Watercolour Artists in St Ives

St Ives. Famous not only for Its connection with the Art world but also for its extraordinary light.
The light has attracted artists since Turner's visit in 1811. For this project three painters from the Watercolour Society came together to work not only in St Ives but also in the nearby harbour of Porthleven and in the extraordinary location of the Botallack Tin Mines.
The DVD explores how each of the 3 painters, Richard Pikesly, David Paskett and Jan Treloar respond to the challenge of the light!
